PATIENCE

by Ami Kunimura, MA, MT-BC   •   February 2020

Have patience for yourself and what you don’t know yet.
Give yourself the chance to learn before judging yourself.

Have patience with others.
They don’t yet know what you do.

Have patience with time.
It can only give you 24 hours each day.

Have patience with patience.
It takes practice and trust, but it is there within you.

For a moment here, relax the urge within you that wants to control the outcome.
Let things be, just for a few seconds.

Patience can be an act of kindness to yourself and to others.
It’s not always an easy gift to give,
but sometimes it can mean just pausing to take a breath,
and each day is a chance to practice.
